Factory keyless entry HELP!!

Hi All, I have a 2001 M3. Just wondering if there is a way to have the car make a noise when I lock it with the button on the key, like a beep or whatever. Right now, it's silent, the doors just lock and thats it.

You can have the lights flash by having a dealer program it. I think you need an alarm system to get it to chirp.

hint most 3 series do not have an alarm. you can buy one on http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp for about $18, but before you buy it make sure that your local bmw dealer will code the parts that they didn't sell/install.
