ugh... my mom has hit curbs with bmw M3 rims on her 325i 3 times now... one rim has a long scratch along the outer edge... another has a big impact chipping damage... and the third has a shredded outer edge...

My wife has done the same thing a couple of times . ouch..And she loves the car just as much as I do . The problem is getting them to rethink how close they really need to get to the curb when parking. If I park 12in from the curb , she's sure I'm going to get side swiped by traffic. Hasn't ever happened to me and I never scrape the curb ...KNOCK on Myrtle wood
