What is the MAX. Intensity bulb I can use?

Hi,

I need some help picking out new HID bulbs for my M3. I have the Xenon HID Kit installed from the dealer. The bulbs in it now are 8000k, I know that the higher I go the hotter the bulb gets. Can these projectors handle 10000k or 12000k bulbs?

You can put in 10000K or 12000K bulbs just fine. 4300K bulbs are what all cars with standard xenon headlights come with. As you go higher and higher with the Kelvin (temp) rating, you lose light output. 8000K is already substantially less lighting output than a standard xenon bulb, so the only thing you have to consider is if you want to lose even more lighting onto the road or not.
